One of the success secrets in custom development is the specification process. We’re experts in teasing out the details and documenting them clearly – even if you’re not sure of the details yourself. In face-to-face meetings or using online communications we’ll work with you to create a clear, precise ‘bible’ with which to instruct our developers.

After the specification is agreed, we’ll decide on the appropriate tools for the job. These could be Open Source frameworks such as CakePHP or Zend, enterprise-level Content Management Systems such as Typo3 and Silverstripe or e-commerce solutions like Joomla E-commerce Edition or OSCommerce.

We have a Technical Director permanently based in Vietnam, which is where we prefer to do our complex development work. With a good specification to work from our partners don’t need much encouragement. They’re keen and very task-oriented. Even so, having one of our senior people working in the office with them ensures that things never come off the rails. And we’ll keep you up to date using an online Project Management environment.

Once built, your application can be migrated to one of our servers in London’s Docklands for testing and launch – or to your own server so long as it meets the criteria. And if you need help with the online marketing we’ll be ready to pitch in there too.
