Portfolio: The Relationship Specialists

The Relationship Specialists were referred to us by one of our existing customers. They had an idea and were looking for a development partner to make it reality. In essence, they wanted to provide their confidential counseling service online. In practice, this meant building a custom application from scratch – something we’ve always loved doing!

Once we had all the details, we built the application in a flexible CakePHP framework – transactions are handled by SECPay. The resulting (secure) environment allows The Relationship Specialists’ customers to explain their problems to counselors online.

Therapists respond using a dedicated admininstration interface that prompts them with recommended responses which can be integrated into their personalized reply. The customer is able to respond to the therapist’s recommendations and ask for further advice on the same personalized reply page. The online sessions continue in this way until a satisfactory conclusion is reached.

We think it’s a great idea. The Relationship Specialists think the reality is pretty good too.
